In het kort: Je gaat als Kubernetes Specialist binnen het DevOps team Asgard containeroplossingen en -diensten ontwikkelen en uitbreiden, terwijl je bijdraagt aan de IT-innovatie en de energieovergang van TenneT.
The TenneT BTO (Business Technology Organisation) department is responsible for developing, realising and managing IT technology for the whole of TenneT. We are looking for a Kubernetes Specialist (32–40 hrs/week) to join our DevOps team, Asgard.

- The candidate must be an expert in Kubernetes.
- Commitment for at least 32 hours per week.
- Location: Arnhem Rhijnpoort - min 1 x week at the office (on Tuesday)
Availability:
- It is important that the candidate is available for the entire requested period in the application.
- The assignment may be extended, this depends on the workload, this will be discussed in time.
De Eisen
– Experience with Vault.
– Collaborative mindset to align with DevOps engineers working on the Container Orchestrated Platform.
– Ability to work closely with (solution) architects and engineers to identify platform needs.
– Strong focus on privacy and security.
– Readiness to respond to incidents and participate in standby rotations.
– Proactive attitude in suggesting tools and improvements to reduce lead time for development teams.
– Professional and intellectual ability at bachelor level or higher, or a comparable qualification.
– Profound working experience in the field of Platform Engineering.
– Sound experience in Kubernetes.
– Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools.
– Willingness to provide schedule-based 24×7 support.
– Independence, initiative, and ability to work in a team.
– Strong communication skills and very good English skills.
– The candidate must be an expert in Kubernetes.
– VOG (Certificate of Conduct) must be received before the candidate can start.
– Commitment for at least 32 hours per week.
– Location: Arnhem Rhijnpoort – minimum 1 x week at the office (on Tuesday).
– The candidate has proof of identity (a passport or identity card), which is valid at intake and on the start date of the candidate’s contract and can be submitted for verification.
– The candidate must be available for the entire requested period in the application.
De Wensen
– Understanding of Object store, different types of open source databases and Kubernetes operators for databases.
– Understanding of Micro Services architecture.
– Experience with Agile development & Scrum.
– Experience with version management (git), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
– Experience with deploying using tools like Helm & ArgoCD.
– Experience with ELK, Prometheus and Grafana.
– A ‘go to’ person who is comfortably able to find his way in a large organization.
– Communicative, articulate, pro-active and easy to approach.
– A professional that takes timely and informative decisions.
– Thinks in possibilities instead of issues, ‘can do’ mentality.
– A team player, willing to deliver value, to explain / train others.

Omdat het proces verloopt via een aanbesteding is het belangrijk dat je een goede kans maakt om de opdracht te winnen. Bij een match starten we het offertetraject, bij twijfel laten we dit binnen 1 werkdag weten.
De procedure verloopt via een aanbesteding. De eerste introductie doen wij daarom op papier.
- We werken samen een offerte uit waarin we toelichten waarom jouw profiel aansluit op de gestelde eisen en wensen.
- We verzamelen de benodigde stukken indien gevraagd zoals referenties, diploma's, motivatiebrief, VOG etc...
- Op basis van data bepalen we een kansrijk uurtarief voor de offerte. Jij hebt zelf natuurlijk het laatste woord in het biedingstarief.
Wij houden van eerlijk en transparant zaken doen.
Als je aan slag gaat via Bij Oranje hanteren we de volgende voorwaarden:
- We vragen 10% marge over je uurtarief voor de duur van de opdracht.
- We betalen je factuur binnen 21 dagen, je hoeft dus niet op je geld te wachten!
- Als jij je opdracht goed doet en daardoor bij de dezelfde opdrachtgever een nieuwe opdracht mag doen dan ben je daar volledig vrij in! We hanteren geen concurrentie-/ relatiebeding.
Wij houden van eerlijk en transparant zaken doen.
Als je aan de slag gaat via Bij Oranje Detachering dan hanteren we de volgende voorwaarden:
- We vullen samen een loonheffingsverklaring in en tekenen een overeenkomst van opdracht.
- We rekenen 15% marge van je uurtarief voor de duur van de opdracht. Het resterende bedrag verlonen we volledig als brutoloon.
- Binnen 21 dagen na het ontvangen van je getekende urenstaat, ontvang je de netto-betaling op je bankrekening. Je hoeft dus niet op je geld te wachten!
- Als jij je opdracht goed doet en daardoor bij dezelfde opdrachtgever een nieuwe opdracht mag doen dan ben je daar volledig vrij in! We hanteren geen concurrentie-/relatiebeding.
Reageren kan tot uiterlijk één volledige werkdag vóór de deadline (zie procedure)!
