Job Description
Project: Replacement of Digital Student File
We are seeking a senior technical ServiceNow consultant/developer for the project “Replacement of Digital Student File”. The consultant should be capable of executing complex integrations, including necessary development work primarily consisting of scripting, where required. Coordination and alignment with the broker team is also essential.
Project: Telephony Integration in ServiceNow
For the project “Telephony Integration in ServiceNow”, we are seeking a senior technical ServiceNow consultant/developer. The consultant should be capable of executing complex integrations, including necessary development work primarily consisting of scripting, where required. Coordination and alignment with the Telephony and broker team is also essential.
You will be part of the project team, consisting of both internal and external employees. For effective knowledge transfer, it is important that external consultants also provide some training to internal ServiceNow colleagues, and possibly contribute to user training.
The line activities mainly consist of platform maintenance and changes, release management, continuous improvement.
Objective/Outcome of the Assignment
DSD
Objective:
Work in a small team to realize a robust, secure and user-friendly DSD within the ServiceNow platform, with full integration with existing VU systems.
Sub-objectives
Create DSD Portal in ServiceNow.
Basic DSD setup in ServiceNow.
Develop integration with SLcM for obtaining information including student number, course unsubscribe date, etc.
Configure document types with retention periods and access rights.
Access setup for students and employees.
Logging and auditing.
The content of the current DSD must be correctly and completely migrated to the new DSD. This also applies to the documents that are still in TopDesk and should have been in the current DSD.
Telephony/KCC
Realization of an integration in ServiceNow with the telephony system at the VU, in Roger365 (Teams). A central telephone number table is required, which contains a cleaned up collection of all telephone numbers based on data cleansing.
Knowledge & Experience (Requirements)
The hired professional must have relevant knowledge and experience, as specified in the assignment. These are minimum requirements for achieving the agreed result.
Required Competencies
At least 5 years of experience as a Senior technical ServiceNow consultant/developer.
Ability to translate a functional design into a technical design.
Technical realization of the Telephony solution where new objects, data cleansing scripts are in order.
Point of contact for junior internal developers
Knowledge and experience with integrations (IntegrationHub and APIs)
Possession of ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
